昨年のさくらの開花は、例年に比べて気温が高かったせいもあり、9日程早かったですが、

今年開花が早いのではないかと言われており、桜の見ごろは4月15日頃から20日頃と予想されています。

 

今年の北上展勝地さくらまつりは、4月10日（日）から5月5日（木）まで開催される予定です。

Hello. This is Green Hotel Kitakami at Kitakami, Iwate prefecture in Japan.

 

In spring, a cherry blossom festival is held at “Tensyouchi” at Kitakami.

“Tensyouchi” is one of the famous cherry blossoms places in the north eastern region of Japan.

 

In this year, a cherry blossom festival will be held at “Tensyouchi”

from April 10 that is earlier than an average year.

 

Because of higher temperature than an average year,

the flowering of the cherry blossoms may be early this year,

and it is expected from April 15 to 20 in full bloom of the cherry tree.

 

The cherry blossom festival is going to be started on April 10 until May 5.
